Southern Lawn & Pest is a locally owned and operated lawn care and pest control company, serving Tipton, North Shelby, and Fayette counties in West Tennessee. What You'll Do
- Visually inspect and treat lawns for weeds
- Operate equipment to apply fertilizers and pesticides
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Maintain chemical records according to state requirements
- Participate in team meetings
- Complete certification and continuing education requirements
- Thoroughly explain our services and procedures to our customers
- Keep our equipment and vehicles clean and in good working condition
You must be
- Honest, Reliable and Dependable
- Able to pass a C03 and C07 certification exam
- Physically able to walk customers' property while carrying or pushing equipment weighing over 70 lbs. for long periods of time in hot or cold temperatures
- Ready to work on time every day that you are scheduled
- A Fast learner
- Professional

- Detail oriented and Self Motivated
- Willing and able to work flexible hours
- A good driver with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Pay
- Starting pay $12 to $16 per hour
- Our experienced technicians make over $20 per hour. You will have the potential to earn that or more within your first year with our commission based pay scale. We guarantee you will never make less than your hourly rate, but you can make significantly more!

Hours
We typically work between 30 to 60 hours per week. The weather can significantly affect our work schedule. We never work on Sunday's, but we do have to work Saturday's when the weather gets us behind.
Compensation: Starting pay $12 to $16 per hour. Our experienced technicians make over $20 per hour. You will have the potential to earn that or more within your first year with our commission based pay scale.
